Houston, Texas · a continuing education division of Tu Es Belle Spa
Houston TDLR continuing education for Texas beauty & laser professionals
Online, self-paced CE coursework with an examination component, designed to meet TDLR
continuing education requirements — written by a licensed practitioner in a working Houston treatment room.
CE provider registration in progress with TDLR — enrollment opens upon approval
Built by a working licensee, for working licensees.
Tu Es Belle CE Academy is the continuing education division of Tu Es Belle Spa, at
333 West Loop North, Suite 410, Houston, TX 77024 in the Uptown and Galleria area of Houston. Every course is being written by
Rozmin Shirazee — in the industry since 2008, a licensed cosmetologist, and an active laser hair
removal technician — around the way renewal actually works for people on the floor.
Courses are delivered entirely online: read or watch the module, work at your own pace, then complete the
examination component. No classroom seats, no travel, no scheduling around a webinar.
Because TDLR licenses are issued at state level and the coursework is online, this is a
statewide academy, not a Houston-only one. A licensee in Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, Fort Worth,
El Paso, McAllen, Corpus Christi or Lubbock completes the identical approved hours, on the identical schedule,
from anywhere in Texas:
We also answer the questions licensees ask before they ever buy a course, with the department's own pages
cited for every figure:
Please note: Tu Es Belle CE Academy is not yet a registered continuing education
provider. The provider packet is being prepared for submission to the Texas Department of Licensing and
Regulation. Nothing on this site is offered for enrollment or credit until approval is issued, and provider and
course numbers will be published here once issued.
Planned course tracks
Seven tracks, one renewal cycle at a time
Each track is being developed as online, self-paced training. The laser track includes
an examination component, which TDLR requires for web-based laser instruction. Hours shown are the renewal
requirements TDLR sets for that license type. Course numbers, hours offered and tuition will be published here
once TDLR approval is issued.
For Apprentice-in-Training, Technician, Senior Technician and Professional certificates of registration. TDLR accepts web-based online training for these hours, and the course must include an examination component.
The standard renewal package for cosmetology operators: one hour of sanitation, one hour of human trafficking awareness, and two hours of approved elective topics.
The same four-hour structure written through an esthetics lens — treatment room sanitation, client screening, and elective hours aimed at skin care practice.
The same four-hour renewal package written for a barbershop — clipper and blade reprocessing, razor work, and elective hours aimed at barbering practice.
Licensed 15 years or more? TDLR waives your two elective hours. This is the short package — the sanitation hour and the human trafficking hour, and nothing you do not owe.
1 hour — sanitation
1 hour — human trafficking awareness

What Texas actually requires of you
How many CE hours do Houston beauty professionals need?
Houston licensees renewing a Texas cosmetology, esthetician, eyelash extension or manicurist license need 4 hours of department-approved continuing education every two years. Individual laser hair removal registrations require 8 hours. Approved online coursework counts, so you can complete renewal hours from home.
Can I do my TDLR continuing education online?
Yes. TDLR accepts approved online continuing education, and states plainly that web-based online training is accepted for laser hair removal CE provided the course includes an examination component. Every Tu Es Belle track is being built as self-paced online modules with an exam — no classroom, no travel, no live webinar.

Your instructor
Rozmin Shirazee
In the industry since 2008, licensed since 2009, with 18 years of experience across cosmetology and laser hair
removal, and an active laser hair removal technician practicing in Houston.
Shirazee runs Tu Es Belle Spa in Uptown Houston, where she works with clients every week — which is
exactly the point. The CE material being developed here is drawn from current, hands-on practice: what actually
goes wrong in a treatment room, what sanitation looks like when you are busy, and what a licensee needs to know
to stay compliant and safe.
Choose the track that matches your license and register through the site. Enrollment opens only after
TDLR approval is issued.
02
Complete the self-paced modules
Work through the material on any device, at whatever hours suit you. One CE hour equals 50 minutes of
actual instruction, so the pacing is built around real content — not filler.
03
Pass the examination
Each online course includes an examination component, as TDLR requires for web-based training.
04
Receive your certificate
The provider issues your certificate of completion within 15 days of the course end date. Keep it —
as the licensee, you are required to retain it for two years.
